getting married young

a lot of the people i knew from high school (but wasn't really friends with) have gotten married in the past three years. this makes me wonder, if they were virgins and waiting til marraige to have sex. why else would you want to rush into something like that at such a young age? but i guess these people aren't swimming in commitment issues like myself. either way, still doesn't make sense. i didn't even know waiting for marraige was still a thing, until i went to college and met tons of people who were actually waiting (wtf?). i wish i was friends with these people, so i would have known if they were waiting or not. or that it wasn't rude to message them and ask them. "hey this is for a social research project." someone get on that for me plz.


and now for a question. what is worse: getting married young so you can have sex, or staying a virgin so you don't have to get married?
