rain

today as i was driving to work, it was, gasp, raining. i had the windshield wipers on the lowest setting because... well... i just don't give a fuck anymore. it was weird to me to see, the second before the wipers would, well, wipe, that the view from my windshield looked exactly as it would if i were driving without contacts in. and then i realized something. im not sure what i realized. it was more like a feeling. like not caring if i had my contacts in or if i could see while driving. it felt like giving up.
